I'm growin' up!

Nate is getting so big! He had a doctor's appointment this week and he is now 14 lbs 2 oz and 24 inches long. He is talking a lot these days too. Here are some pictures from our Christmas break trip and such. First is Nate with Kathy....the woman responsible for Tom and I dating....thus ultimately for him :) Next is a picture of Nate from tonight sitting up in our chair...he balanced for a moment. There is also a picture of Nate with his Pappy....he loves to talk with his Pappy. Also is a picture of me with two of my cousins and their babies who are within 6 months of his age. There is also a video of him talking tonight.

I love to hear him talk! He is SO cute.

Christmas in Colorado

Below are pictures of Christmas Eve in Colorado and a few more pictures from our time visiting Tom's family. We celebrated Christmas Eve at Uncle Rodger & Aunt Tina's. Nana got to see how much bigger Nate has gotten since she last saw him - about 6 weeks ago.
Sam wanted to hold her little cousin, Nate. She was being a good little "baby sitter." She liked giving Nate his pacifier.

Grandma, Grandpa, Nate, Dada, Mama went to Chicago and spent the night at a hotel the day before we flew to Denver. Nate was lounging on the bed with Grandpa, having some tummy time.

Christmas time with Grandma & Grandpa

We had a wonderful couple of days in Michigan with my folks. Nate got to meet a couple great Aunts and his Great Grandparents from my side of the family. We had a great time. Nate has really started to talk and smile a bunch so of course he was the star of the show. Here are a few picks from the visit.

A week with family...

Sorry it has been so long. We have had the pleasure of spending the past week with Tom's family who all came to us from their respective homes to spend Thanksgiving with us. We also celebrated Christmas together. It was really great fun to have everyone together. We also had fun having our little niece here and watching she and Nathan together. Nate can't really participate, nor was he even aware of her, but it was fun to watch what a big difference 6 months can make. She was somewhat interested in him. Tom's sister, Amy, took some great pictures of them this week. I am sure we will be using one or more of those as Nate's birth announcement/our Christmas card.

The best gift!

Grandma and Grandpa had a wonderful time loving on the cute little grandbabies! Now Nate has met 3 out of 4 of his grandparents (not counting 3 great-grandparents). Pappy is scheduled to visit in about 10 days. Nate will also get to meet the 3 great-grandparents at Christmas time. He sure is one loved little boy.
