On the move...

I turned 8 months old today, so I've decided I had better get moving!  Now if only I could figure out how to go FORWARD!!

I was wrong...

Maybe I was wrong.  Maybe all our children are talkers.  A couple weeks later and she jabbers away.  She talks a lot when she is tired or if she is mad.... maybe she is a complainer. :)  Plus, a couple pictures of Nate and Katey together.

So I was trying to think through when Nate did things as I am anticipating Katey's development.  I feel like Nate was "chattier" than Katey.  So I looked back at old posts.  Do you remember in February 2008 the post called "Talking with the Dragon Fly"?  Katey definitely doesn't chat that much.  Nate was about a week older than Katey is now.  I wonder, is my boy going to be my chatter and my daughter the quiet one?  Hmmm.... it'll be interesting to see how similar or different they are from one another.  I need to take more videos of Katey.  I'll try to take more to post here. :-)

Katey 8 weeks

Kathryn Grace Willson (Katey)

Katey was born Tuesday morning, June 1 at 8:16 am.  She was 8lb 9oz and 19 inches long.  Mama and Katey came out of the scheduled c-section with no complications.  Although Mama was a little nauseous after and the meds she was given for that made her VERY sleepy for the rest of the morning and most of it is a blur.  Mama is healing much faster than she did with Nate and feels great in comparison.

Nate is such a great big brother.  He loves his little sister.  He loves to hold her and comes running if she is crying.  We are so proud of him.

36 weeks...

We're getting close.  I'm 36 weeks along, and less than 3 weeks out to the scheduled c-section.

I am kind of hoping she comes sooner.  We'll see...
